Kameshwar Narayan Singh Government Polytechnic, Samastipur(देवनागरी-कामेश्वर नारायण सिंह गवर्नमेंट पॉलिटेक्निक समस्तीपुर) {commonly referred to as K.N.S GP SAMASTIPUR} is a public, Coeducational Polytechnic College in Samastipur,Bihar,India.It is wholly funded by the Department of Science & Technology Government of Bihar. It is recently founded in 2016 & it is first Government technical college in Samastipur District. The Foundation stone was laid by 22nd Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar.It runs Diploma courses in Civil,Mechanical,Electronics & Electrical. This Institute is Approved by AICTE & fullfills all the criteria.

ADMISSION

Admission to PE(POLYTECHNIC) Courses is made on the basis of merit list in competitive examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.Bihar Domicile students are eligible to appear in this examination.

Campus

Campus is Divided into following zones:

1. ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK(प्रशासनिक खंड)- THIS includes offices,lecture classes,civil Labs,Chemistry lab,Physics lab,Electronics lab,electrical lab,LIBRARY & Mechanical lab.
2. PROFESSOR Dwelling (प्रोफ़ेसर आवास)
3. LECTURER Dwelling (व्याख्याता आवास)
4. PRINCIPAL DWELLING (प्राचार्य आवास)
5. Cafeteria/Canteen (भोजनालय)
6. Workshop LAB (कार्यशाला प्रयोगशाला)- It includes carpentry shop,fitting shop,welding shop & blacksmith shop.
7. HOSTELS (छात्रावास) - It includes two Boy's hostels & one Girl's hostel of the capacity of 500 students.
