The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notice on Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2019, on its official website today i.e., August 13, 2019.



SSC has scheduled to conduct an open competitive Examination for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.


The notification says “The posts are Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400- 112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.”


The interested and eligible candidates can submit online applications for the SSC JE recruitment through the official website of SSC — ssc.nic.in - from today. The last date to submit online applications for SSC JE post is September 12, 2019.


SSC JE 2019: Scheme of Examination


The JE examination will consist of two Papers — Paper I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive Type). Details of these Papers are as follows:


Paper I


(i) General Intelligence and Reasoning


(ii) General Awareness


(iii) Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structural)


or


Part-B General Engineering (Electrical)

or


Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)


Paper II


Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structural)


or


Part-B General Engineering (Electrical)


or


Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)


SSC will notify the examination date in due course.


SSC JE Recruitment 2019: Important instructions


1. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully.

2. The candidate must write his name and date of birth strictly as recorded in the matriculation/ secondary certificate. if any variation in the name and date of birth is observed, his/ her candidature will be cancelled.


3. Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the ssc website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
